Hyalase (Filler Dissolving) in Swansea
Safely dissolve unwanted dermal filler
Hyalase is an enzyme injection that safely dissolves hyaluronic acid dermal filler — used to correct, reduce or completely remove previous filler treatment.
When hyalase can help
- Overfilled or lumpy areas from previous filler
- Filler migration or asymmetry
- Wanting to start fresh before new treatment
- Vascular occlusion emergencies
- Dissatisfaction with a previous result
- Filler from another clinic you would like removed
Hyalase contains an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid filler, allowing your nurse to reduce, correct or fully dissolve previous treatment — including filler placed elsewhere.
A consultation is required to assess the area and agree the right approach, whether that's a small correction or full dissolving.

Frequently asked questions
Will hyalase remove all my filler?
It can, depending on the dose used — your nurse will discuss whether you want a partial correction or complete dissolving at consultation.
Does it hurt?
Discomfort is generally mild and similar to the original filler injection.
Can I have new filler straight away?
Usually a short waiting period is recommended to let the area settle before any new treatment — your nurse will advise timing.
Is hyalase safe?
Yes, it's a well-established treatment used both electively and, in emergencies, to correct vascular complications from filler.
Treatments at Skin Rehab are provided by an Independent Nurse Prescriber registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). A consultation is required before treatment. Services are for adults aged 18 and over. Individual results may vary.
